In conjunction with the NASA Ames Research Center Exchange, Oxcart Assembly has conceptualized a set of high quality, limited-edition collectible posters hand-drawn by artist Neal Williams of Epic Problems Print Shop and Design Studio and screen-printed on the highest quality paper. Neal recently created the official poster for SXSW 2020’s film festival and is one of the industry’s highest regarded artists. The series kicks off with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and commemorates the successful landing of the Mars Perseverance Rover and Mars Ingenuity Helicopter on February 18th, 2021, with additional posters on a regular schedule to match NASA Mission highlights.
There are NASA facilities all across the United States and around the world while NASA Headquarters in Washington, DC provides overall guidance and political leadership to the agency. There are 10 NASA field centers, which provide leadership for, and execution of, NASA's work. All other facilities fall under the leadership of at least one of these field centers. Some facilities serve more than one application for historic or administrative reasons. NASA has also used or supported various observatories and telescopes, an example of this is the NASA InfraRed Telescope Facility. Designs have been approved by NASA's Office of Communications at NASA Headquarters and we are pleased to be able to bring them to you.
**Framing note: the signature and number is very low on the poster. If you would like to frame the poster we reccommend mounting it directly to the front of matte board, not to the back, and getting a frame that is Larger than the poster so that the frame itself does not obstruct the edges of the board. You should not need to cut the poster to get it mounted and framed. If you receive the suggestion to cut the poster from the framing shop, we strongly urge you to select a different merchant.
