Who wouldn't want to give a start to a loved one? While this may be a beautiful gesture, the practice of selling any interstellar object (stars, planets, moons, etc.) is purely a commercial practice. The International Astronomical Union (IAU) is the only internationally recognized body that approves star names. You can find more information about the IAU on their website (https://www.iau.org/)

This Hubble image shows the central region of the Tarantula Nebula in the Large Magellanic Cloud. The young and dense star cluster R136 can be seen at the lower right of the image. This cluster contains hundreds of young blue stars, among them the most massive star detected in the universe so far.
